Hernán Garrido-Lecca was born in 1960 in Lima. He is an economist, businessman, writer and inventor. He has a degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacifico; He obtained a Master's in Administration from Harvard, a Master's in Politics in Science and Technology from MIT, and a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Seville. He completed Master's studies in literature at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He was Negotiator of the Foreign Debt of Peru, Vice President and CEO of Interbank and Investment Officer of the IFC-World Bank in Washington DC. He has served the country as Minister of Housing and later as Minister of Health. He has practiced written, radio and television journalism. He is the author of children's literature and has published more than thirty books, obtaining several literary awards; two of his books have been taken to the movies. I have presided over the Peruvian Inventors Society and has registered 8 patents, two of them in the US. Winner of the 1996 National Inventors Competition, Gold Medal at the XXV Geneva International Invention Salon, 2014 National Environmental Prize and the 2016 National Innovation - Technology Prize, among others. He is President of Auster Energía and Acuicola Mares del Sur; founder of BioPencil; He is a Reserve Lieutenant Colonel of the Peruvian Army and a civil aviation pilot.

John Preissing

Deputy Director at FAO

John Preissing is the Deputy Director of the FAO Investment Center which provides technical investment support to member countries in conjunction with international financial institutions (IFIs) for the expansion of agricultural and rural development programs at the scale level. Before serving in this role, he served as the FAO Representative in Peru and later in Ecuador, leading the implementation of national and regional priorities, focusing on improving food and nutritional security, strengthening family agriculture and rural development, and natural resource management and climate change adaptation. Prior to this, Mr Preissing functioned as the Officer FAO Principal in Extension Systems and thus he has worked extensively on agricultural innovation systems, investment programs and projects, and extension in Latin America, rural areas of the US, and Africa. He has his Master's in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky, and his PhD in Agricultural Extension Systems from the University of Minnesota.

She was recognized as one of the “Business leaders 2016” in Navarra and her company was awarded with innovation prizes at national and European level. She is young Corresponding Academician of Jakiunde Academy, whose mission is to promote and disseminate the Sciences, the Arts and the Letters.

Senior executive with +20 years C-Level working experience in Digital Internet products & Services, Commercial, Operational, P&L responsibility and Corporate Strategic transformation and M&A local and international responsibility across large multinational telecom and banking firms and NewCo companies. Vicente is currently Senior Executive officer of the IoT & Big Data spin off project at Telefónica Tech. Before assuming his current position in Telefónica Tech he has been the Global Chief IoT Officer at Telefónica for 5 years from 2015. Mr. Muñoz was also Global Director of Industry Solutions Product and Services in the Business Solutions unit at Telefonica. He was CEO at Telefónica On The Spot Services for 6 years from 2009. He led the transformation and innovation process of the company to make Onthespot a leading company in retail digital solutions. He first joined the company in 2000 as CFO in Rumbo, online Travel Agency (JV Terra-Amadeus), one year later he was appointed as Financial Analyst Director in Telefonica Media and moved on to lead the Corporate Content Unit of the Group in 2005. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Navarra, received Executive Education for top management executives at IESE Business School.
