Irene Ubani
Irene Ubani
Member, Investigations and Compliance
Irene Ubani is an International Business Journalist, social entrepreneur and Communications Consultant who promotes the development and growth of sustainable businesses in line with the SDGs actions towards climate change and eliminating poverty. Her work has reached and impacted over 10,000 individuals’ collectively on all media platforms where it was featured across over 36 countries in Africa, and she has been consulted by various SMEs across the continent on how to replicate some businesses which she covered in her reports, such as converting plastics to bricks for construction among others. Her work has been found by various media houses, such as the BBC Nairobi, Businessday Newspaper, Plus TV Africa and ManUp in Texas, where she serves in the capacity of the Communications Consultant. In her spare time, she has directly impacted over 200 underprivileged students by organising free tutorials on weekends in order to contribute diminishing the number of out of school children in Nigeria. This has also earned her some accolades, as the government school which she adopted in 2019 recorded its lowest JSCE failure rate in over 5 years, after she mobilized volunteers and resources to join her in properly tutoring the students. She has served in various capacities and in multiple reputable firms in her career, such as the First City Monument Bank, Business Day, Plus TV Africa, where she hosted eminent personalities such as Dr Okechuku Enelama (Minister of Industry, trade and Investment), Dakuku Peterside (DG NIMASA), Herbert Wigwe (CEO Access Bank) Nnamdi Okonkwo (CEO Fidelity Bank Plc.) and Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (Governor Lagos State), and the Cryptography Development Initiative of Nigeria where she currently serves as a Member, Investigations and Compliance. She has several certifications to her name, including the prestigious Cisco Certified Networking Associate(CCNA), and a host of others from the Harvard Business School.

Richmond Eke is a social entrepreneur who is driven to connecting capital to growth opportunities wherever he finds himself. He is known to create value in an organisation by reverse-engineering the company's vision and finding innovative ways to achieve their set goals. He has a knack for finding viable business opportunities that fit the company's mission and line them up for partnerships, investment, and acquisitions. He is a highly trained professional with skills in Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). He presently serves as the Strategy Advisor for CoFoundersLab famous for being referred to as the largest network of Entrepreneurs online, where he helps founders solve their business problems through business automation, strategy advisory and growth hacking. He is also Executive Director, Growth and Strategy, RedTown Digital Nigeria – a firm which he cofounded and previously served as Director of Business Development. During his time at RedTown Digital, he was jointly responsible for acquiring high profile clients such as Uber, McKinsey & Company, The Federal Government of Nigeria, Samsung, Skye Bank, Indomie (Dufil Prima), Forte Oil and Access Bank PLC. He has served as a product manager with Decred, and a Marketing consultant for Distru, United States of America in his career. He is an eagle of the 2016 set and speaks elementary Spanish.

Damilare Oshokoya is a social entrepreneur who has a keen interest in developing products and systems that makes the world a better place through a socially responsible organization and teams that leverage business as a tool to meet people’s needs. He is always excited when working with teams to create and deliver sustainable solutions that transform the lives of people for the better. He had his education at the Education Business School Netherlands Master of Business Administration where he obtained an MBA in International Business after his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Tai Solarin University of Education. Mr Oshokoya is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Realvest.ng. He served as Chief Operating Officer, Pettysave Nigeria between February 2019 - August 2020, and the Incubator Manager, Hebron Start-up Lab Covenant University, where he screened applications, trained, and prepared start-ups for seed funding, as well as providing business consultation and mentorship for aspiring start-ups founders on idea validation and prototyping. He was also the Covenant University Enterprise Coordinator for Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Studies (CEDS) between September 2016 - April 2018 and is presently the Facilitator entrepreneurship education.

Dr. Efosa Uwoghiren is a social entrepreneur, strategist, and an innovation consultant and trainer who is passionate about equipping entrepreneurs and organizations with the necessary knowledge, information, and skills they need to build competitive products. He has spent the last few years helping early and growth stage businesses build value-driven products that solve real problems and implement sustainable business models that enables them to continuously create value for their customers. In the past 2 years, he has worked with over 50 entrepreneurs and innovators to build their businesses with a focus on creating value, and is obsessed with solving Africa's biggest problems in creative ways. His background is in technology, product development, people's management, project management, business development, strategy, and entrepreneurship. He is presently a Senior Facilitator at the Hebron Startup Lab, Covenant University, where he has facilitated courses with relation to business development for different training sessions organized by the lab. He has completed over 20 sessions with over 300 trainees in attendance. He is also the Chief Technology Officer at Ripple Impact, where he is saddled with the responsibilities of setting the company's technical vision and leading the company’s technological development as well as overseeing development teams and their projects. He also serves as a partner to Ecumenical Technology, as he has done for over six years. In the past he has been at the helm of affairs at Vital Link International Academy, where he served as a director. Dr Uwoghiren served as a lecturer in CEDS between September of 2017 and 2018. He is an eagle, who completed both his master’s degree and his PhD at Covenant University. He also was privileged to be a finalist in Hult Prize regionals the last time our university was a centre.
Gideon Okuazun

Gideon Jayeola Okuazun is a Startup Midwife and Business Growth Consultant. He believes that it is more effective in contributing his quota for a more prosperous Africa to support more high-growth start-ups and entrepreneurs than to have a company with a lot of employees. He is presently a Guest Lecturer at Covenant University’s s Centre for Entrepreneurial Development Studies and a Curator of education at the annual University digital summit. He also serves as a Manager at the Hebron Startup Lab, Covenant University – a position which he has held for nearly two years. He has been responsible for providing leadership and operational direction for the Lab, overseeing and directing the Lab's overall operation, and developing/cultivating High-Growth Entrepreneurs. He has previously served in various capacities at the 3A group, Pearson VUE and Manifold Business Project Solutions, where he was Project Director and System Analyst and Maintenance Engineer at the Ministry of Lands, Survey, and Housing, Ebonyi State. He is a highly qualified professional and holds certificates and qualifications from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Udacity and The International Business Management Institute (IBMI). He also has a BSc, Information and Communication Technology from Crawford University, Faith-City, Ogun State, where he was awarded as the Student with the most outstanding behaviour in and outside the University, Most Influential Student, All-time Student Leadership Award and Most Popular Student award.
