Senior Mathematical Modeller at Cyprotex Discovery Ltd
Dr Mohammed Atari is the Sponsorship Coordinator at AIN. He received his B.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2005. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in advanced biomedical engineering from the University of Warwick in 2006. In September 2006, Mohammed worked for four months as a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University where he taught biomedical engineering modules and supervised senior year graduation projects. He was awarded the University of Warwick Vice Chancellor's Scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. in biomedical systems modelling, which he earned in 2011. His doctoral thesis looked into mathematically modelling the kinetics and dynamics of the anti-cancer agent topotecan. Dr Atari is currently working as a Senior Mathematical Modeller at Cyprotex Discovery Limited, a preclinical discovery and development company, on developing novel in silico models for drug pharmacokinetics to improve the predictive power of Cyprotex software. Dr Atari is the 2017 recipient of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine’s Innovation Early Career Award which is awarded to an early career member who has made a significant contribution to advancement of innovation in technology resulting in translation into clinical practice; related to physics and engineering applied to medicine and biology. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Scientist (CSci) and a Member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (MIPEM).

Dr Ziad Hunaiti obtained his Coaching qualification from Cambridge University, Higher Education Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy, Coaching Membership from the Association for Coaching (AC), PhD in Systems Engineering from Brunel University and (MA, PgDip, PGCert) in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education from Anglia Ruskin University. He has diverse experience as a coach, an academic, a researcher and an educational consultant and currently as a CEO in addition to coaching and Higher Education consultancy. He is also an external examiner for a number of universities in UK and abroad. He is a highly experienced academic leader with extensive and diverse experience.

Researcher & Educator in (Social) Entrepreneurship
Dr Farah is an educator, trainer, and researcher in the field of (social) entrepreneurship. Her overall research interest is understanding the intersectionality of (social) entrepreneurship and gender, and their impact on sustainable development. Further research interest is in hybrid organizations, social innovation, human capital, and social entrepreneurship education. Her philosophy of teaching revolves around the convention that the task of education in general, and teachers, in particular, is to encourage students to move from their comfort zone towards their learning zone, where they can live an exceptional educational experience through getting excited or sometimes feeling uncertain while doing new things and take risks. She has extensive experience in Jordan, the UAE and Italy of teaching specialist and executive social innovation and (social) entrepreneurship courses that have included a focus on social and sustainable challenges.
Dr Maha Al-Zu'bi

Researcher - Agriculture Water Solutions at (IWMI)
Maha Al-Zu’bi has a PhD from the University of Calgary in Environmental Design. She has over 18 years of extensive involvement in managing research, public and international funded programs in various development sectors including water, energy, agriculture, and environment. She joined several international organizations (e.g., GGGI, Global Communities, IWMI) dedicated to supporting sustainable development and promoting green economy in developing countries and emerging economies. Currently she is a Researcher – Agriculture Water Solutions at the International Water Management Institute (IMWI) responds directly to the demand for innovative, scientifically tested water management solutions for sustainable development. Maha is actively fostering interdisciplinary approaches to real-world energy, water, climate change and environmental issues. Having a long-standing interest in the interplay between environment, development, and policy, she has always demonstrated commitment in supporting organizations and initiatives that strive to improve livelihoods, protect the environment, and secure peaceful relationships. She has published in peer-reviewed journals related to climate change governance, green roof policy, and energy-water-food nexus.
Dr Ghadir Siyam

Development Engineer at Energy Company
Dr Ghadir Siyam is a charted engineer working in the energy sector in London, UK. She obtained her first degree in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering department in Canada. In 2014, she completed her PhD in the Engineering Design at the University of Cambridge, UK. She is part of international scientific committees in engineering design, mentor students, and has multiple publications in engineering. In 2012, Ghadir co-founded a charity that foster innovation in the Arab world by engaging youth to solve real challenges in engineering, environment, entrepreneurship, IT and health. During her studies and work, Ghadir was recognized with multiple awards such as the Canadian Millennium Excellence, Robotics International, and Jeldwen award.

Experienced Professional Engineer and Manager
Dave Shipley is a Manufacturing Engineer and Manager by training. His early career began working for a global defence company (BAe Defence Systems) where he became Senior Manufacturing Engineer managing several of the computer aided engineering computer systems, and developed a system to manage the manpower planning for the site as part of the Sales and Operations Planning process. Dave then left to work for one of the company’s software suppliers for four years, before making the transition to Higher Education in a business development role, and subsequently becoming the Operations Manager in a not for profit company working to bridge the gap between academia and business. Following this, Dave was the Knowledge Transfer Manager in the Innovation Team at East Midlands Development Agency until its closure, where he then assumed the role of Centre Manager at an EPSRC funded Manufacturing Engineering Technologies Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Nottingham. For the last four years, Dave has been Operations Manager within the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham with responsibility for two large active divisions, Cancer & Stem Cells and Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dave is currently the founder and owner of a business support and consultancy company with a focus on supporting businesses through this difficult period at minimal risk.

Director of Collaborative Projects and founder of “Circular Food Forum”
Dr Manoj Dora is currently the Director of Collaborative Projects and Outreach at Brunel Business School. He is also heading the Operations & Information Systems Management Group. Manoj has several years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy worldwide. He is the founder of “Circular Food Forum” which brings together academic, industries and policy makers to facilitate dialogue and take forward research agenda. Manoj's areas of specializations are Sustainable Value Chain and Quality Management with a focus on Lean Six Sigma in the agro-food sector. Manoj’s current research aims to map the circular pathway for food supply chain and its impact across the different stakeholders using “lean thinking” principles. His research is an innovative application of cross-cutting operations management theories such as Lean and Six Sigma in the agriculture and food sector which will redesign agricultural production as it is today to improve efficiency and eliminate waste and losses. He has been involved in many capacity building initiatives focusing on the circular economy, humanitarian operations, industry 4.0 and food supply chain in Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. At the same time, he has also worked with over 50 SMEs to implement lean principles as part of their operations. Manoj has been successful in acquiring research grants from the World Bank, European Commission (FP7), British Academy, UKIERI, British Council, Newton Fund and several private companies. He is also appointed as a subject expert at the European Commission, ESRC, VINOVA in the field of food research and circular economy. He holds a PhD from Ghent University in Belgium. He has received a MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University in the USA supported by International Ford Foundation. He has several publications in the high impact journals and disseminated his research in reputed forum such as TEDx and Cambridge Festival of Ideas at the University of Cambridge.

Researcher in Sustainability
Tulin is passionate about research on sustainability of organisations. In her PhD, she focused on how firms can use the space of alliance portfolios to address various sustainability challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, access to clean and affordable energy and address various sustainable development goals. She is currently a PostDoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, working at the Finix project which focuses on the circular textiles ecosystems. She is interested in collaborative innovations for sustainability, sustainability in emerging economies and emergence of sustainable innovations. Tulin’s research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Business Ethics, Sustainability, Green Finance.

Andra completed her double-degree PhD in Industrial Management in KTH Sweden and Politecnico di Milano Italy. Her research expertise lies in the intersection between strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the context of environmental and social sustainability. She particularly interested in the role of green start-ups, and their partnership with incumbent firms, in tackling sustainability issues within the food system. She also teaches courses in the related topic, such as Management & Strategy and Leadership & Innovation.

Dr Hadi Abulrub holds a PhD in Engineering & Executive MBA from the University of Bath. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with more than 17 years of experience in designing industry related professional CPD courses and interdisciplinary postgraduate programmes. He is a Chartered Engineer with IMechE where he is appointed as Professional Review Interviewer for the award of professional CEng status in the UK. He is a member of the Cabot Institute for the Environment at the University of Bristol exploring entrepreneurial business models and enabling digital technologies to advance sustainable decentralised energy systems. Furthermore, Dr Abulrub was a member of Corporate Advisory Group for the Association of Project Management and was a Board Member for the Chartered Management Institute, both in the South West region, UK. He served as a director of a renewable energy enterprise. Dr Abulrub teaching, and research activities focuses on the innovation, sustainability, digital technology, and entrepreneurship. He has numerous international publications and conducted various international workshops and training seminars in professional development and knowledge transfer in the UK and the Middle East sponsored by the University of Warwick, the University of Bath, and the British Council.

Claudio Assenti is actually working as Consultant at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Food Loss and Waste Team, supporting an FAO working group on food loss and waste legislation and working on the planning of activities and initiatives for the International Day of Awarness on Food Loss and Waste. Previously, he did an internship experience at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). High level skills in International Law and, in particular, in Food Law as a result of the LL.M. in Food Law at University LUISS Guido Carli of Rome. Prior to undertaking the LL.M, he graduated in International Relations and Political Science at Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna University. Work experience as communication officer including ability to communicate with organizations abroad
